At Kasa de Kassandra, every loaf is shaped by hand, every pastry folded with patience, and every shelf stocked with the kind of ingredients that make a kitchen feel like home.

Our Story

A kitchen built on the belief that slow food never goes out of style

Kasa de Kassandra began as a small passion project — a home kitchen where bread wasn't rushed, where sourdough could rise as long as it needed, and where every recipe carried the warmth of something made by hand.

Today, we've grown into a beloved neighborhood bakery and gourmet grocery on Via de Palmas, but the philosophy hasn't changed. We still bake in small batches. We still choose suppliers who care about quality the way we do. And we still treat every customer like a neighbor stopping by for a chat.

Whether you're picking up a single croissant for breakfast or curating a pantry of specialty imports, you're getting the same care that went into every loaf we've ever shaped.

Breads Baked Fresh Every Morning

From our signature sourdough to buttery ciabatta, every loaf starts with a starter we've tended for years and finishes with a crust that sings.

Golden sourdough loaf with a deeply scored crust

House Sourdough

A 48-hour fermented loaf with a shatteringly crisp crust and a crumb so open and tangy it needs nothing but a pat of salted butter.

Freshly baked focaccia topped with rosemary and sea salt

Rosemary Focaccia

Pillowy and dimpled, brushed with olive oil and scattered with fresh rosemary from our garden. Perfect for dipping or slicing into sandwiches.

Crusty Italian ciabatta loaves on a wooden board

Italian Ciabatta

An airy, irregular crumb wrapped in a golden, flour-dusted crust. The kind of bread that makes a simple sandwich feel like a celebration.

Dense whole wheat loaf with a dark, rustic crust

Whole Grain Rye

Deeply flavored with toasted rye and a hint of molasses. Dense, satisfying, and perfect for hearty open-faced sandwiches.

Classic French baguettes with a perfectly blistered crust

Traditional Baguette

Crisp and ear-cracking on the outside, impossibly soft and fragrant within. Baked fresh each morning for the best texture.

Giant cinnamon roll with a thick cream cheese glaze

Overnight Brioche

Rich, eggy brioche dough, shaped into a spiral with real cinnamon and rolled in sugar. Flaky, tender, and worth every minute of the overnight rise.

The Pâtisserie

Pastries That Make
Monday Feel Like
Sunday

Our pâtisserie case is where French technique meets Florida lightness. We fold butter into croissants until they shatter at the slightest touch, pipe éclairs with choux so airy it defies belief, and tart shells that hold their shape against the juiciest seasonal fruit.

Everything is made in-house, every single day. No shortcuts, no day-old leftovers, no assumptions about what "good enough" looks like. If it wouldn't pass our own kitchen table, it doesn't make it onto the shelf.

The Pantry

A Grocery Shelf You'll Actually Enjoy Stocking

We curate a selection of specialty imports, artisan preserves, olive oils, and pantry staples — chosen the way you'd choose for your own kitchen.

Olive Oils & Vinegars

Small-batch oils from Mediterranean groves and aged barrel vinegars that change the way you season everything.

Artisan Preserves

Hand-stirred jams, marmalades, and fruit compotes from producers who still believe in real fruit and real sugar.

Pantry Essentials

Specialty flours, sea salts, dried pastas from Italy, and other staples that elevate everyday cooking without the fuss.

Coffee & Teas

Single-origin coffees roasted locally and loose-leaf teas sourced from family estates. Your morning ritual, upgraded.

"We drove across town just for the sourdough. Now we drive across town every single week. Kasa de Kassandra is the kind of place that makes you believe in slow food again."
